The lecture focuses on the history of the Czech orthodontics in the 90th of the last century. In 1990 the orthodontic section of the Czech Stomato- logical Society J.E. Purkyně became the Czech Orthodontic Society work- ing within Czech Stomatological Society. Later, Czech Orthodontic Society became an independent entity entitled to own the property in its name.
