Josef Kunkela

Dr. Josef Kunkela graduated from the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in 1993. In 1995 he started his career of a dentist in Donau Dental s.r.o. in České Budějovice, and since 1995 he worked as a junior lecturer at the Medical Faculty of Charles University in Hradec Králové. In 1996 he gained 1st degree specialization in stomatology, and in 1996 2nd degree specialization in prosthetic dentistry. The following year he started his own private practice in Jindřichův Hradec – DentalPoint. Dr. Kunkela is the president of the Czech Stomatological Academy, he works as an external lecturer at the Clinic of Stomatology, Medical Faculty of Charles University in Hradec Králové, he is an expert appointed by court in the field of dental medicine, he is the founder of the education center Dental Laser Institute, and a co-founder of the first internet portal focused on dental medicine DentalCare (CZ/SK). Dr. Kunkela works also as the editor in chief of DentalCare journal, and as the editor in chief of Zdravý úsměv (Healthy Smile), a journal aimed at general public. His lectures and workshops held in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Poland, Hungary, Austria and Germany focus on dental prosthetics, laser application in stomatology, marketing, management, logistics and ergonomy in dental medicine.
